Scouting

The 12th Ashton Scout Group at Richmond Street Community Centre Ashton has restarted with two new Leaders Jane and Phil Rogers.
Here are 3 new Cubs Dylan, Daisy and Maxwell who have been working hard over the last three weeks to gain their nature badge. They have been learning about trees and plants and collecting insects plus learning the country code and finally making seed feeders with lard for the birds. As they have completed all the stages of the badge Amanda Kinsey presented them with their nature badge. Alan Fish from Scouts said, It’s great to see young people gaining badges in Scouts but we do need more Beavers, Cubs and Scouts at 12th and also more Adults to help the young people get more badges at 12th on Friday nights.

Come along on Friday night: Beavers: 6pm-7.30pm, Cubs: 6pm  – 7.30pm, Scouts: 8pm – 9.15pm.

Scouts build skills for life, come on, join us!
